The "stone flower" in Guangzhou is still growing up with ten thousand years

These day,a precious “stone flower” is found in a holl near jinglong hole ,qingxin city,guanzhou,China.

It is said that ,the “stone flow ” has a history about ten thousand years,and now still slowly growing up forming a specially nature view.

With the guider of the worker,the Guangzhou Daily reporter creep into a small cavern about 40 square meter. Under the faint light,the stone flowers is so beautiful : some like white pome,some like yellow chrysanthemum,and another like downy white fungus with exquisitely carved; beautifully wrought appearance.

It is said that the “stone flower” is just only found in a few holes in the world.They are small ,the smallest is only 20-30mm.the biggest diameter is no longer than 100 mm.

One expert of the Chines cave association introduce that ,the forming condition of the “stone flower” is very hard.It is the crystalcrystal with the water from the stalactite and the calcium carbonate,and with about several huandred years ,it can just 10 longer. And it is a polyallomer to calcite,but with higher specific gravity and hardness.
